Photograph article dated April 2, 1959 partially reads, "Dr. Constantin Bakaleinikoff, new conductor of the Burbank Symphony Orchestra, is one of those professional musicians who likes amateurs. The courtly, Moscow-educated veteran of 40 years in the motion picture music business, is thinking of starting an orchestra for them. 'This would be for adults,' he explained. 'It would be in addition to the present youth and professional orchestras. 'Many amateurs would like to play in orchestras, but are not of professional caliber. Such a group also eventually might develop musicians for the professional Burbank Symphony." Photograph caption reads, "Pro likes amateurs - Dr. Constantin Bakaleinikoff, new conductor of Burbank Symphony Orchestra, leans over his cello as he tells of his plans to encourage amateur musicians with orchestra of their own in Burbank."
