Photograph caption dated June 20, 1958 reads, "Silkworm project presents problem - Twelve-year-old Candy Lee Wells of Studio City checks part of collection of more than 200 silkworm cocoons which her sixth grade class developed for semester project and ponders problem of what to do with them now that summer vacation is just around corner. She became custodian for project because of Mulberry tree in her backyard."
