Description
Street scene at 2nd and J Streets with street car, horse-drawn carriages and men and women walking on covered sidewalks. Businesses and power poles line the street. This image is part of a commemorative album given to Albert Gallatin in 1904 by his employees. Gallatin was the president of Sacramento Electric Power and Light Company and a builder of the Folsom Powerhouse (1895) along with H.P. Livermore.
