Photograph of 17 Antelope priests lined up to depart from the Kiva for the Hopi Snake Dance in the village of Mishongnovi, ca.1901. They all wear a highly stylized garb decorated with woven patterns and feathers. Another man sits atop a horse behind them at left. A horse or burro is grazing further back. A few of the adobe dwellings and ladders are at right.
