Photograph caption dated May 4, 1961 reads, "Hank Sprouls, ranch hand at the Jauregui ranch in Placeirta [sic] Canyon and rodeo bronc rider, gives an advance look at technique to be used at the 35th annual Newhall-Saugus Rodeo Saturday and Sunday in the Saugus Stadium.
