Alexander Sanger discusses his book, “Beyond Choice.” He begins by explaining his family history and how he is the grandson of women’s activist Margaret Sanger, and he was the president of Planned Parenthood in New York City. He discusses famous abortion trials, the legalization of abortion, and the choices and risks women face. He talks about how he became a lawyer for Planned Parenthood after offering his legal services to doctors. Sanger discusses his views on genetic testing, stem cell research, and cloning. He ends the interview by giving examples of the importance of women's choices, and the problems in China due to its one child policy.
