Photograph article dated October 17, 1962 partially reads, "During Easter Week of 1961 the baseball future of 19-year-old Jimmy McGlothlin was as gloomy as San Francisco is today. The freckle faced Reseda High School right handed pitcher developed a sore arm and his coach Quentin Quick was doubtful if McGlothlin would ever toe the rubber again. Today, the 190-pound flame thrower is part of the Los Angeles Angels youth movement and his baseball career is as bright as the Yankee dressing room yesterday." Photograph caption reads, "Angels acquire Jimmy McGlothlin. Pitcher is shown in Reseda High School uniform."
