Photograph caption dated October 31, 1953 reads, "Magnolia Park to claim second queen? - Debbie Reynolds, right, M-G-M star who started on the road to fame via the beauty contest road, gives Marion Krops a few pointers on how it's done. Marion is the Magnolia Park Chamber of Commerce entry in the San Fernando Valley Queen Contest, and today has been designed [sic] 'Queen Marion' day in Magnolia Park."
