Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated July 11, 1964 partially reads, "E. F. (Gene) Kidder, of San Fernando is 81 years old but you'd never know it. Kidder, who has lived in the San Fernando Valley since he came from the Midwest in 1902, was one of the first real estate and insurance brokers in the Valley. He's alert and sharp as a tack. His memory is like a phonograph record. When Gene talks about Valley history you want to listen because he makes it so interesting. He lived in the same house in San Fernando for 50 and a half years."
