Raymond G. Jones, City Bureau of Public Buildings, views thousands of 17 1/2-gallon water cans stored by Civil Defense in the old Pacific Electric subway terminal; cans, all empty, would be filled by fire units in event of an emergency. Photo dated: August 8, 1966.
