Four of the children sit against the long, brick building that extends from the let foreground to the right background. A large slab of wood lies in the dust at right. "Mexican patio at town of Capistrano. Northern wing of Hacienda Aguilar. Built 1794. Dona Catalina Godinez de Yorba and family... Grinding corn on metate stone, San Juan Capistrano. Catalina Godinez de Yorba grinding corn in the patio of the Aguilar hacienda. The girl to the left is Feliciana Yorba y Aguilar de Aguilar. The others, left to right are the children of Dona Catalina and her husband Don Jose Antonio Yorba: 2. Augora Yorba de Sepulveda, 2. Gilberto Yorba, 3.
