Description
Photograph caption dated July 6, 1957 reads, "Tennis racquet, that is! Richard (Pancho) Gonzales, who will put on exhibition tennis matches and a professional tennis clinic, shows famous warbler Doris Day a pointer or two on the game which he will exhibit in the eighth annual net school for boys and girls under co-sponsorship of the Los Angeles City Recreation and Park Department and the Southern California Youth Tennis Foundation. The school opens Monday at Griffith Playground."
