Photograph caption dated December 2, 1963 reads, "Burbank patrolman Charles French fires a pistol as his motorcycle roars past a target in the Burbank Police Department's Harvard Road pistol range. Some 15 Burbank motorcycle officers engage in shooting practice Sunday. For accuracy, nonexperts slow or stop their motorcycles before shooting until they become accustomed to firing while moving."
