Photograph article dated December 3, 1948 reads, "Kelly Jean Harmon made her picture debut today. She posed for photographers at her Studio City home. She is the daughter of Actress Elyse Knox and grid great Tommy Harmon. She was born Nov. 9 at St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank. Kelly Jean has blue eyes and reddish-blonde hair. She is the Harmons' second child. Her sister, Kristin, is three years old. Her mother is under contract to Monogram Studios. Her father, the former All-American from Michigan and professional grid star, is a radio sports announcer."
