Description: Photograph of an architectural drawing of Palomar Square. "Architect's conception of complete $2,000,000 'Palomar Square' [Palomar Recreation Center] project. On left is dancing casino. Behind main entrance is circular driveway. Right of circle from front to rear are tennis and badminton courts, bowling alleys, ice skating rink. Right rear corner shows artificial lake depicting famous Lucerne Lake, Switzerland. Extreme right is auto park" -- handwritten note on verso, dated, "February 21, 1940". Another print dated, "March 6, 1940".
