Description
Santa Claus, courtesy of the Malibu Optimist Club, kneels next to the dedicatory plaque during the first annual tree lighting ceremony on the Malibu campus. The tree, named "Christmas in America," was a 25 foot Deodar Cedar donated by the Adamson family and the Malibu Optimist Club. About 200 people, including Malibu residents, attended, and Santa dispersed candy canes to the children. The tree is located near the foot of the Phillips Theme Tower. complete;
