Original photograph has several stains.
Photograph caption dated January 1, 1957 reads "Van Nuys float which won second place in its class depicted nation's democratic heritage in four-tier creation, 'First President.' Norman West, Jr., 18, portrayed George Washington on top tier, Sandy Knox, 18, center, was Miss Liberty and James Moran, 11, Uncle Sam. White dove on front tier symbolized peace, fountain and scales were justice. High school students, girl scouts and other Van Nuys rooters pooled efforts to complete flower pasting in early morning hours."; See images #00141204 through #00141214 for all photos in this series.
