Description
Located at 20600 Ventura Boulevard, the 2865-seat Valley Music Theater opened in 1964 and was demolished in 2007.
Photograph caption dated July 17, 1964 reads, "Musical comedy star John Raitt canters in for a look at the new Valley Music Theater, where 'The Sound of Music' with Janet Blair closes Sunday. Raitt stars in 'Oklahoma!' opening at the Woodland Hills spot Tuesday evening."
