Portrait of a large group of boys outside a building, they are possibly from one of the mission schools, a number of which were set up in the Punjab under the supervision of John Taylor (1837-1868) and Robert Paterson, who arrived in Sialkot in 1860 and represented the Church of Scotland Foreign Mission.
