Photograph article dated March 20, 1962 partially reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Kilen of North Hollywood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for their friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in their home at 5108 Bakman Ave. They were married in South Pasadena, where they lived before moving to Oatman, Ariz., which had a population of 250 people. Kilen said that a big gold strike increased the population to 15,000 overnight...After their stay in Arizona, the Kilen's moved to the Valley to what was then Lankershim.
