Photograph of a view of baseball being played at Washington Park, ca.1905. The baseball field can be seen from the outfield looking towards home plate and the grand stands. The stands are filled with spectators, while the baseball players can be seen on the field. Photonegative sleeve reads, "City Park. Chutes Park adjoined, was privately owned".
Legible signs and billboards read, "Los Angeles Times. Newsy, Independent, Brilliant [...]", "I read the Los Angeles Times. A man's size newspaper", "Travel tourist choice of routes.
