Photograph caption dated July 9, 1983 reads, "Tangled up in blue were 16 members of the Muslim Students Association who were arrested during a "Down with Zionism" march yesterday in front of the Israeli Consulate on Wilshire Boulevard. Most of the arrests were for attacks on police. About 450 demonstrators gathered to protest Zionist policies in Israel."
