Photograph article dated July 8, 1960 partially reads, "Multi-million dollar business improvements in the Studio City shopping area and in nearby residential property areas were disclosed today by Sam Roth, immediate past president of the Studio City Chamber of Commerce. Improvements will include shopping centers, a recreation area, office structures, a restaurant, banking facilities, a motel and new homes, according to Roth. All facilities are either under construction or in the final stages of planning." Note: Photo caption reads, "Heading for the cup - Family group seek recreation at Putt-Putt Miniature Golf Course in Studio City. Located at 12605 Ventura Boulevard, the 16-hole course is part of a nationwide chain of 320 franchised courses, 11 of which are located in the Los Angeles area."
