Rechts sitzt Alinane Mukoma der Oberrichter der Inamwanga Ebene." ("Two crowned heads. The Paramount chief of Utengule region and the supreme judge of Inamwanga. On the stool on the left: Paramount chief Mulotwa. Alinane Mukoma, supreme judge of the Inamwanga plain, is sitting on the right."). On the left: Mulotwa, sitting on a stool, is wearing a fez and European clothes. About 1 meter to the right: Alinane, also sitting on a stool, is wearing a hat and European clothes as well. In the background: shrubs and trees.
Alinane was the son of the Mukoma, the sacred ruler of Inamwanga, who supported Gemuseus and Tietzen in finding a suitable place for a new mission station in Inamwanga. Alinane was one of the first African Christians in Inamwanga. -- Werner Hauffe (1909-1982) was a carpenter and later a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. From 1933 to 1939, he served in Rungwe, Utengule and Isoko. In Utengule, he was an assistant to Brother Gemuseus. In 1937 he married Irmgard Wolff.
