Description
Doll depicts a Mien woman wearing a long jacket with fluffy red collar and long embroidered pants. The long jacket has two front flaps that are tied around the waist producing two back tails, their embroidery visible over the aprons and pants. Her pant are adorned with red belt tassels worn on each side of her waist. The doll wears a black turban, wrapped so the embroidered ends stick out from the sides of her head indicating she is Mien from the Chiang Kham region of Thailand. The doll also wears silver earrings, a neck ring, chains, and bracelets. She holds a woven baskest in each hand, and carries one on her back. Original title from SEACRC: Mien woman with baskets
