Description: “On safari with evangelists.” Landscape view showing tents pitched in a clearing with a group of men gathered together to eat. Dr Irvine had regular medical, educational and religious safaris to the out-stations of the Chogoria mission. ❧ This image is from an album chronicling the time that Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) spent at Tumutumu (1919-1921) and some of the early years at Chogoria.
