Corner view of the 450-car General Petroleum garage, located at 612 S. Flower Street and Wilshire Boulevard. The entire structure is a continuous spiral ramp curving from the basement to the roof, with plenty room for even the widest of present day cars, like the 1949 Packard Convertible (not shown). P. J. Walker Company built the 13-story structure at a cost of $5,000,000. Photograph dated March 1, 1949.
