Description
Interior view of the Spanish style El Roblar Hotel, located at 122 East Ojai Avenue in Ojai. The large fireplace has a mantel and fac¸ade made of river rock. A sign above the double doors on the right reads "Gentlemen," suggesting that the doors lead to a men's restroom or lounge. The hotel, designed by architect Richard Requa with the support of Edward Libbey, was built in 1920. As of 2008, the building serves as The Oaks at Ojai, a full-service spa.; For view 1 of this series, see image 00005087.
