Description
Connie and Irma begin the interview discussing the author pseudonym of the novel, and Connie has Irma read a passage from the book. They proceed to talk about Irma’s vice-presidency at the Writer’s Guild of America and how the story involves unions before going on to discuss why Irma and her writing partner, Naomi, decided to write the book, and Irma’s career achievements. Connie and Irma move on to talk about the book’s characters and narrative, and Irma’s professional encounters with ageism. Irma then discusses the possible sequel to the book before considering how she and Naomi collaborated on the work. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
