Description
This street scene shows a clear view of the storefront location of Kuo Min Tang, the Chinese Women's New Life Association. The front door is emblazoned with a sun design emblem (for the Kuu Min Tang, a Chinese Nationalist Political Party) and a combination of English and Chinese characters are on the windows. Next door at 908 Fourth St. is the Chinese Card Room. A glimpse of the State Hotel sign can be seen at the far right of the photograph.
