Description
Photograph caption dated August 9, 1989 reads, "A small plane bound for Catalina from Long Beach Airport developed engine trouble and crash-landed on Terminal Island yesterday, plowing into a lot full of new Hyundai automobiles. Gerald B. Brown, 53, suffered no injuries when he landed his Grumman Tiger on a dirt road, and it went over a chain-linked fence and into the car lot. Neither Brown nor anyone on the ground was injured. Two of the cars were damaged in the crash."
