Description
Photograph caption date stamped July 18, 1964 reads "Armando Vega is seen ' flying' to the long horse last night at Valley College. Vega was part of a select group of former gymnasts and this year's hopefuls that are taking part in the Erwin Volze Invitational meet. The finals will be staged tonight at 7:30 p.m." Valley College is in Van Nuys. Vega was a member of the 1956 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team.
