Description
A half hour KCRA-TV film containing news clips covering topics such as crime, politics, construction, and local-interest stories in Sacramento, California and surrounding cities. In the film Stan Atkinson conducts separate interviews with check forger Bobby Blundell, a.k.a. "Mr. 35" and his wife Ruth Blundell, "Mrs. 35." Other clips include the crowning of the 1960 California State Fair "Maid of California" Judy Ann Price, a subsequent interview with Price, and interviews with fair goers. The film also documents the Sacramento Chinese Grocers Picnic, construction at Sacramento's Southgate Shopping Center, and Governor Pat Brown commenting on California water issues.
