Observer Lorna Hawkins – host of 'Drive-By Agony' Tom Raveille – Radio Free Venice 'The Muckracker and Other Voices' showcases three southland residents who, without any formal journalistic background, have found ways to get out the news they think is important. Profiled are: Leonard Shapiro, publisher of the L.A. Observer a newsletter devoted to critically observing politics; Lorna Hawkins, the host of limited, public access cable program 'Drive by Agony,' who interviews others who have lost sons and daughters to gang bullets; and Tom Reveille, who battles with the FCC over his private radio station, 'Radio Free Venice.'
