Description
In this presentation Dr. Atkinson discusses his experience to convert country’s most widely used admissions examination, the SAT 1, to a more advanced test, the SAT 2. Dr. Atkinson was seeking a new test for college admission because he was convinced that this examination should require more writing skills, advanced knowledge of mathematics and a strong section on reading comprehension. After careful and extensive research, Dr. Atkinson was able to find evidence proving that the SAT 2 is a better predictor of college performance than SAT 1. Based on his research the SAT 2 became an official test for college admissions in 2001.
