MacArthur Park, created in the 1880's under the name Westlake Park, was later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. This photograph shows a statue of General Douglas MacArthur. Paint has been splashed on the statue, and the walls around it are covered with graffiti. Photograph taken in 1983.
