Photographic portraits of Los Angeles Police Commissioners and Chief Elton, ca.1905. The image is a composite of five oval-shaped portraits arranged in a diamond formation. At the top of the diamond is a portrait of Commissioner J. A. Keeney. Below this portrait is the word "Police". The second row of portraits is made up of Commissioner S. R. Thorpe, Chief Chas. Elton, and Commissioner Willard H. Stimson. Below this row is the word "Commissioners". The bottom tip of the diamond is formed by a portrait of Commissioner G. W. Walker. All of the men are wearing civilian suits except for Elton, who is dressed in his police uniform.
