Description
The Los angeles police department pistol team is shown with five trophies just received that indidcate the team is the best in the nation. The trophies were won at a national meet at Camp Perry, Ohio. Left to right: Lee Young, R. J. Nowka, Lieut. Joseph Dircks, Sgt. Mark Wheeler, Police Chief James E. Davis, Detective Lieut. E. E. Jones, J. J. Engbright, Thomas Carr and W. R. Stark. Los Angeles won all five medals for the first time since the national matches began in 1875. Individual championship was won by E. E. Jones.
