Description: The rear guard of one of the many fire-fighting units is shown bringing up hose to fight the onrushing flames west of the Altadena district. County fire fighters and CCC youths, led by experienced forestry men, hoped to bottle up the fire along Foothill Boulevard near the La Can~ada district. Photo dated: October 23, 1935.
