To Mrs. [Daniel Herbert] Colead of Pomona College, a variety of memorabilia pieces of Edward E. Hale, sent by himself on December 1, 1905 from Roxbury, Massachusettes. The first item is a handwritten letter that came with the small collection (5 pieces including letter), signed by Edward E. Hale and is in good condition. Second item is long, printed Biblical poem on stiff carboard like material, good condition, trimmed in gold, and autographed. Third item is a short hymn titled "Psalm 1000," and dedicated "To the Chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Song of Praise in June, with an Addition for January." This item is in great condition, 2 pages, and autographed. Fourth item is a booklet titled "Capt. Nathan Hale: An Address Delivered at Groton, Connecticut on the Hale Memorial Day, September 7th, 1881." Booklet is 14 pages long, bounded by string, great condition, and autographed. Fifth item is an unscanned booklet titled "One Good Turn," which is a short story that is 20 pages long, in great condition, and autographed.
