Description
Photograph of Southern California Edison Company water power plant on the Kern River, ca.1930. A tall square building sits above water in the center. The building has long windows with semicircular shapes at the top. Some sort of transmission device extends out of the right side of the roof while trees line the building on both sides. The calm waters of the river reflect the light and objects around while flowing from the foreground to the building in the center. The peak of a barren hill can be seen behind the building while the hillsides sit on both sides of the building.
