Photograph caption dated January 2, 1959 reads "One of the most important props in 'Auntie Mame,' is the longitudinal cigaret (sic) holder which the zany Auntie manipulates throughout the hilarious film at the Chinese Theater. Here at a pre-opening shindig Rosalind Russell demonstrates the holder's proper uses to UPI's Hollywood correspondent Vernon Scott (right) and Valley Times drama editor Len Boyd." Grauman's Chinese Theater, a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument is located at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard.
