Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated December 12, 1962 reads, "A 35-foot fir tree is put up by workmen in front of Burbank City Hall as part of the first annual Community Christmas Tree celebration sponsored by the YMCA. Tree ornaments are being made by Y youth groups to decorate the giant tree, which will be lit by a spotlight. The YMCA will present a musical program at the base of the tree beginning Monday. Groups from church, school, and community organizations will participate."
