"Soldats anglais" ("English soldiers") Photograph of a group of British soldiers in Pretoria. They stand in lines, wearing uniforms, and carrying guns. One of them plays the bagpipes. In the background, the sign "Local Transport Office" in front of a building. On the picture, the inscription: "Peloton d'écossais. Pretoria 1901" ("Platoon of Scotsmen. Pretoria 1901").
