Photograph caption dated June 9, 1961 reads "When photographer Jon Woods went to a recent student assembly at Birmingham High School in West Van Nuys, his alert camera caught an unidentified student in the back row in this unusual pose as the program marched toward completion. To find out what took place during the meeting in which the young man took his momentary, horizontal stretch, see the photograph on Page 3."
