Description
View of two cars, from the Sacramento Northern R.R. Bay Cities Limited, stopped on 8th Street and headed south toward K Street. This train ran from Chico to Sacramento to S.Francisco in the 1920's and 30's, and was the longest interurban electric line in the U.S. (229 mi.). Ambrosia Cafeteria visible to far left. High resolution scan available.
