Photo caption reads: "Crowds of children at the Stonehurst School in Sun Valley are seen getting books from one of the Los Angeles Public Library's four bookmobiles. Today (Wed) marks the eighth anniversary of the library's traveling branch service. Special ceremonies were held on the Stonehurst School grounds to demonstrate the need for passage of Proposition "C" for bond funds to finance a branch library construction program which will be submitted to the voters May 28". Photo dated: May 18, 1957.
