Description from back of photograph: "These little white tags are attached to the end of core trays and each core is an interval of formation cored, or cut out of the sand, or the rock, the bit is going through at that particular depth. By studying the core samples the geologists and engineers are able to determine the depth of the sand bodies and where to drill other wells." Image appears to be identical to 33843 OS.
