Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated November 7, 1947 reads, "Boasts talents in matters of thievery." Cincinnati native Anderson, 56, boasted that he was the best thief in the West and was thrown out of Ohio because he was so good. Anderson's criminal record revealed otherwise, showing that he served four terms for theft in Cincinnati. Local police caught him in the act of rifling a parked car in the 300 block of S. Spring Street in Downtown not long after he had been released from the Lincoln Heights jail after having served a 90-day sentence there.
