The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003.
Courtyard and public sculpture at the base of the Century Plaza Towers, located at 2029 and 2049 Century Park East in Century City. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki, the two soaring towers with triangular floor plans were built between 1969 and 1975 and dedicated in October 1975.
